Leeson's Celebrates 60 Years

Starting in 1964 by Lindsay and Jess Crawford working in the Longford Plantations began just outside of Sale Victoria.  They would cut billets for the local pulp mill.

In the Early 70’s Garry along with brothers Rex and Greg would join the business operating machines and trucks as they moved about from hand falling to mechanical harvesting.  Lindsay passed away in the mid 70’s and Garry took over the running of the business.

In 1980 he and his wife Vicki bought the business from Jess and the family with Rex taking some machines to Tumut to start his own business.  Garry and Vicki grew the business and with the partnership of the local pulp mill bought in many first.

Now in 2024 the business is run by Garry and Vicki’s son Ricky along with their youngest daughter Anita in the OH&S area.  They have just renewed their contracts with HVP as the business continues to operate.  If you go to the website you will be able to read more about the business history.
